The winners of the competition under the title "How would you explain the need of plants protection?" had the opportunity to visit the Agrifac factory.
Koetsenruijter in the Netherlands started to work this season with the Agrifac Condor WideTrackPlus selfpropelled sprayer. The Agrifac Condor WideTrackPlus has a variable adjustable trackwidth of 225 - 300 cm. Koetsenruijter grows seed potatoes, vegetables and seed onions on their farm. The seed potatoes are sprayed on a track width of 3 metres. This allows a more economical harvest of the potatoes. The two rows under the sprayer are untouched by the wheels and can be harvested as seed quality with the two-row harvester.

UK’s largest capacity Condor wins approval
For Trumpington Farm Company spray operator David Marson, comfort and ease of use are key points to any machine, and when his new Agrifac Condor sprayer arrived in July 2011, he was not disappointed. Replacing a Sands 36m/4,000 litre machine, the Condor was the first in the UK to feature a 5,000-litre tank, and this is well matched up to a 36m/40m width boom. “When trialling machines in 2010 we thought the Condor stood out,” comments farm - manager Andrew Crossley.
