Robatic is the new Field robot event team from Wageningen, the Field Robot event is a annual event whereby several teams will battle for the victory. This year the event will be held in Herning, Denmark from June 30 to the 2^nd of July in connection with the national agricultural show of Denmark (landsskuet2011).The robatic team will participate in this event for the first time, with a completely new robot. The robot has to do some tasks in a cornfield, like: navigation through the rows, turning on the headland and detection and spraying of weed (artifical plants). The robots have to do all this tasks autonomous, without human intervention. The Robatic team consists of five students Agrotechnology at the Wageningen University in the Netherlands. In 2008 the teammembers started to study the programme Bachelor Agrotechnology (BAT), this is the way RoBATic was born. They started building a robot to participate the field Robot Event  in March 2011. On the website: www.robatic.nl there is more information about the Robatic team.
