In this varied and challenging position, your role is guiding, coordinating and initiating internal and external works where service is concerned.  You will manage employees that solve technical breakdowns on site around the UK and in our own workshop.  You will be expected to keep in regular contact with customers/dealers in the UK and abroad by all methods of communication and visits to locations.  You will be responsible for handling warranty issues with customers.  You will be the first point of address for customers specific adjustments to existing models and structural product improvements and responsible for the planning and co-ordination of these adjustments.  You will also ensure that service, maintenance and complaints are translated into action, processing improvements by co-operation with all departments.

You must have extensive experience with agricultural machinery. Experience with root crop harvesters or crop sprayers would be an advantage.

You must have a proven track record as a team leader. You will have excellent communication, organisational and management skills with a hands on approach. The position is part office based and part field based. You must be prepared to work along side our technicians to service/repair machinery.  You will be computer literate and deal with computer input from start of creating jobs to completion of invoice.

Naturally, you have a passion for the agricultural sector and a commercial and service providing drive.  You keep a good overview without losing sight of important details.  You are a natural leader who manages his team in a motivating and inspiring manner and sets and achieves mutual goals internally as well as with customers/dealers.  Your approach is personal and aimed at collaboration.  In addition to having the need to work in a service-oriented and service providing manner, you do not lose sight of the commercial corporate goal and long term interests of the company.  You know how to liase between people of all levels to meet the end requirements/wishes of the customer.  You do not think in problems but in challenges and you have a flexible disposition. You have a pro-active and result oriented way of working. Your mentality is hands on and your thinking is typically out of the box.
